Ozzie Two Years Later

Part Six

Update: Wednesday, March 25th.

When we went by and checked on little Shelbie, Mike Lynch stopped by and said we ought to swing over to his place and see how Ozzie was doing. We did and he looked great. He is actually pretty big for a 2 year old Virginia Range horse and Mike, his adopter, will have a pretty awesome saddle horse some day.

We'll take and post periodic photos of Ozzie as he matures. While not all the sick and injured orphans make it, most turn out to be some darn nice horses for caring adopters.

Shirley, LRTC's Adoption Program Manager, has taken in several "horses in the house" over the years. Three particularly interesting accounts involve foals named Nemo, Heidi and Trucker. And we don't want to overlook little Victoria, the orphan who became the 2005 Western States WHB Expo halter champion.
