Part Three


East Ridge Horses

A few smaller bands inhabit the valleys and washes along the easterly ridge of the Virginia Range. The area is rugged and many bands are difficult to approach up close, however we were able to photograph a few horses.
Oscar the palomino and his band.
Horse haters claim the local wild horses are starving.
Another east ridge band.
A third band grazing with cattle.
We will get more photos of these and other horses in the east ridge as the weather permits.
