QLD Parks & Wildlife Suspected of Planning Clandestine Cull
This is a continuation from Part One
Mr Dean Wells Queensland State Government Environment Minister Dear Mr. Wells: I have been advised by various sources that Queensland Parks and Wildlife may be preparing for a clandestine brumby cull on Fraser Island. If these suspicions are true, such action may have ominous consequences for Queensland Parks and Wildlife. After the debacle at Guy Fawkes River people throughout the world have focused their attention on brumby management and National Parks and Wildlife in particular. I have first hand knowledge that Brumby Watch Australia is preparing a brumby management plan to present for review and consideration. A preemptive cull of the Fraser Island brumbies would be an egregious act of bad faith. Please investigate this matter and ensure that all appropriate processes take place and options are considered before any action is taken against the Fraser Island horses. Thank you. Sincerely, /S/ Willis Lamm Willis Lamm KBR Horse World c: Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service Central Office Bob Hoey, Principal Conservation Officer, Queensland Lachlan Fullerton, Manager Great Sandy, Queensland Sue Olsson, Southern Region, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service Paul Fishburn, Acting Ranger in Charge, Fraser Island Lyall Sempf, President, Brumby Watch AustraliaTo send your email these parties, please click here.
