Part Four

The next day James and Spirit rode with the group.

James' 10th ride was out on trail in the Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve. He went out with Corey and Havilynn the Clyde. The first bicycle that whizzed by gave him a start but he handled it just fine. Both he and Corey also got pretty alert when we passed under the coyote dens but neither had any real problem with the local canines.

Another purpose for the ride was to try packing some various GPS receivers on horseback for a GPS survey. James was trying out a GPS for the TrailBlazer Magazine survey article.
