Training Case Study:

"Spirit Under Saddle"
Part Three

The next time we had both Spirit and Corey saddled we took the following photos. This sequence is a virtual reenactment of Spirit's previous day in the horse course except that this time he also rode through the pit and down the railroad tie steps. On this time out we also rode through "Spook Alley," perhaps the most challenging area of the stable.
"Follow the leader" trotting in the arena
Up the railroad tie steps
Crossing over the bridge
Stopping in the pit
Crossing the culvert
"Follow the leader" over obstacles
King of the mountain!
Crossing the bridge the hard way
Down the railroad tie steps
Leading the way up "Spook Alley"
