KBR Training Case Study:

"Keno"
Part Ten

Keno the Showoff

Keno "dropping in" to
Snert's training session

When Joyce brought Keno and Jackpot down to the Brentwood clicker clinic, she asked to leave Keno at the ranch for a couple of months so that mom and foal could get unhooked from each other.

When Julie Barraque came down to pick up Snert and Beauty, I led Keno out to the horse course to demonstrate going over the obstacles. Keno had only been through the obstacle horse once before, but she took all the obstacles like a champ. After that point we started working with the other two horses and just let Keno graze.

Not far into teaching Snert about clickers, Keno decided to join in. Just for fun we pulled off her halter and lead to see how well she would take the obstacles off line on voice command. She went through every one like a pro, showing what a mustang could do.
