This was Glenn's last day before heading back home so we returned to practicing on the obstacles. The wind storms had tossed about the barrels so we decided to see how Bart would do on the platforms without the barrels set alongside to keep him from "drifting" to one side or the other. As usual, Bart came through like an old pro.
Getting Bart used to people "up high."

Posing for a photo on the step platform.

Walking lengthwise across the larger bridge.

Mounting the tire pedestal.

Standing on the tire pedestal.

Walking through the tire sidewall ring.

Touching the stop sign on cue.

For a finale we decided to see if Bart would walk up to and mount the tire platform off lead, just on voice cues. Here's how it went, first try.

Later in Illinois (about 17-f degrees outside) here's Glen at work in the arena.

This case study will be continued.
