Welcome to the Old Fogies' Jukebox. In this section we have MIDI renditions of our original music and songs. The jukebox will take you through R&B, traditional rock, country and new age "odds and ends." The quality of these MIDI sounds depends primarily on your computer's MIDI sound card, but MIDI files are convenient as they are small and fast to download.

The jukebox will automatically change from one tune to the next. Please allow time in between songs to load the next song file.

LYRICS

DESERT TWILIGHT
Music by Willis Lamm, words by Harold Roy Miller © 2005 - - - Twilight is falling. The night birds are calling. I can hear the lonesome mourning of a dove. I've been working on the Silver Creek spread, thinking of those harsh words I said to my love. The last time I saw her, she made my heart stir with a smile that was sent down from above. But I was careless, foolish, dumb and blind so I left my home behind, and my love. I couldn't make that girl my bride. I was too full of cowboy pride and a buckaroo has to live a lonely life. I told her not to bother to wait As I rode out through the gate and now my words are cutting like a knife. I remember our last kiss and I know how much I miss the way our hearts, they fit just like a glove. Stuck here on the Silver Creek spread, I'm trying to live down the words I said to my love. (Instrumental) This buckaroo is finished. My cowboy dream has diminished Now that push has finally come to shove. It's clear to me now that I should Pack up and head home for good To my love.
