KBR Training Case Study:

"Keno"
Part Seven

Day 24

Keno was now at the point that she could be haltered in a larger area so she got released from "solitary confinement" and is now in the main "cell block."

She could also be led around the stable. If something spooked her and she couldn't handle it, we could usually keep her head pointed towards us and regain her attention. A couple of times when we challenged her she did pull free, butshe didn't travel far and if we approached quietly, we could pick up the leadrope.

A great looking horse!
We also worked on standing patiently at the tie pole. She was a bit anxious at first, but with some "Click-Assurance" she settled in and started handling other people and activities in the proximety.
