Hope and Joy were allowed to pretty much be mom and foal for several months, although Hope would get taken out for occasional walks and Joy would follow along.
By eight months of age Joy was getting pretty independent. By eleven months of age she was nearly as tall as her mom! Hope posing with Kristi
