Characteristics: A quick to gentle bay mare, but the lead horse in the herd. A nice mover.

Characteristics: A little timid but quick to learn. Never aggressive toward humans.
The Byrds are considering teaching her to drive.

Characteristics: A reliable trail horse. Lisa rides her in a sidepull, most of the time bareback. Was a bit timid at first, but now comes up to Lisa when she goes out to the pasture.

Characteristics: A very bright horse, perlino in color with blue eyes, studied by Professor Dale Van Vleck of Cornell University, nicknamed "Houdini Horse" after his escape from a burning barn, owned by the Boaz family for 26 years.
Aurora Australis (AKA "Aurora")

Characteristics: Aurora started out a high headed high strung youngster, but has settled down now, loves children and won't take her eyes off them.

Characteristics: This beautiful black 2 year old is very intelligent,
patient with humans and really loves kids.
