Crouse-Hinds Cast Iron
Surface Mount Traffic Beacon

This early traffic beacon is made of cast iron and has a patent date of March 23, 1909. This particular beacon is a surface mount. Early Crouse-Hinds beacons displaying the same patent date have appeared in pendant (span wire) configurations.

This particular beacon was not too difficult to restore as the original paint was in exceptionally good condition. It primarily required cleaning and rewiring.
