This is not the first time that Field has been involved in controversial situations.
Field is not allowed to attend the national Wild Horse Workshops. He and his partner, Susan Calhoun, have been responsible for passing numerous bad checks. We have confirmed reports that Field's activities have been or are being criminally investigated by the BLM. (Please note that BLM's jurisdiction is limited to horses protected under the Wild Free-Roaming Horses & Burros Act.)
Officials of the Western States Wild Horse & Burro Expo (where Field purchased the Kiger colt pictured in Part One) reported that they had to pursue Field for five months and had to threaten criminal prosecution on bad checks and stolen property charges before they collected for the colt and resolves some other "issues."
Field has also been involved with trademark infringements, attempting to use "Least Resistance Training Concepts" and "LRTC" trademarks as well as Lifesavers' "Wild Horse Boot Camp" in his deceptive business practices and legal filings.
