PACIFIC WILD HORE CLUB ISSUES CHALLENGE
FOR HORSE RESCUE PROJECT

Story date: June, 1999

This past weekend the Pacific Wild Horse Club donated $1000.00 toward building a new barn and improving pasture fencing at Lane County's Greenhill Humane Society for their Horse Rescue program. Moreover the club issued a challenge: It dared other horse clubs, rodeos and horse owners to match it's donation by July 4 to help reach the $80,000.00 construction cost. The club decided to kick of the fund-raiser to repay the Humane Society for its efforts to stop animal abuse.

"I have been out with them personally to see what they have to look at and what they have to deal with.", said club member Debbie Jackson. The PWHC helps rescue abused and neglected wild horses and place them in foster homes. So come on you people in Oregon! Let's see your spirit!
