Studs Held for Adoption

It is likely that most of the studs will be gelded prior to being offered for adoption. Those with particularly striking color characteristics may be offered intact.

(Considering current horse population issues and the ability for color to be produced naturally on the range, most wild horse advocates recommend gelding animals prior to adoption.)

Weanlings Held for Adoption

A large number of healthy horses were scheduled to be returned to the range. They can be seen in the next segment of this feature.
