Starfyre matured into a rather substantial horse. She displayed that
typical Buck and Bald heavy bone. She has also started to roan in a few
places, however for the most part she has kept her original color.

We got Starfyre used to wearing a saddle and did a minimal amount of riding
on her at age three. She was obviously still growing and there was no point
in taking any chances damaging her developing growth plates. The following
year Donna's husband Rudy started riding her.
