Nikia, an off-color (flaxen markings) chestnut mare, born July 27, 1995, came from the Granite Range (NV221) near Gerlach in Washoe County, NV. She was gathered on November 11, 1995. The Aikins adopted her March 5, 1996 at the James Crabtree Correctional Facility in Helena, OK.

Nikia was responding to her name, accepting touch, leading and loading the first day she came home.
