Zeus was captured in the El Dorado Mts. of Nevada on Sept. 19, 2000. He was 5
years old at that time. He is now a gelding, though he was a jack when we adopted
him at the Vermont adoption in May 2001. He now lives in Ashburnham, MA
at the Hames and Axle Farm.
Zeus is quite the dignified gentleman. But dignity goes out the window when
someone rubs his inner ears, or gives him an apple or carrot. It's very hard
to be gentile when you're sticking your tongue out backwards to inhale your
own breath! He has truly stolen many a Yankee heart up here in New England,
and we look forward to sharing a long life with him.
