"Velvet"
(Originally known as "Debbie")
Part Four

The next day Joyce North came down with "Mad Max" and we talked her into playing around on Debbie. This was about Debbie's 10th time seriously working under saddle and her first time out in the horse course under saddle.

We were all sad to see Debbie go home but afterall, she is Sara's horse! Here was Sara's report we received a couple of weeks later.

She sounds like a "keeper" to us! So much for the theory that older horses are just too wild to gather and gentle.
