Day Two
We took Rusty back to the round pen for a few minutes and he worked very nicely. After doing some basic line work we could ask him to approach and we could touch his face. Ted got into the act and spent several minutes working with Rusty. By the end of the second day's session we could pick up his drag lead without shying, lead him to and from the round pen, do simple longeing and yielding, touch his face, and remove and attach the lead from his halter. Total working time since the adoption: about two hours. |
